UWI School of Clinical Medicine & Research, The Bahamas: Research Days 2022
It is no easy task to commit to hosting an Annual Research Day, and to make it happen. This is our 16th one and it is scheduled for Friday, October 21, 2022, to Sunday, October 23, 2022 via zoom. This year’s theme, Resilience in Health Care Delivery, was carefully chosen to highlight the fortitude of the healthcare system in The Bahamas which has over the past 2 years, as all healthcare systems globally, been rigorously tested, interrupted, and impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.

In 2007, The University of The West Indies, School of Clinical Medicine and Research, (UWI SCMR), The Bahamas launched our research programme with a mission “To facilitate the improvement of health of the people of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas through clinical research that will produce valuable knowledge for the prevention and management of diseases, and formulation of health policies and programs.” The theme for this Research Day is “ Resilience in Health Care Delivery”
